D is for Defense of the Faith. We now live in what can be described as “Post Christian America”. It is no longer acceptable to just be able to quote Scripture, but we must also be able to explain what is means and why we believe. We must be prepared to defend our faith from questioning by non-believers.

C is for Church. The bible is clear in saying not to neglect the place of gathering, but many do it anyway. We can never survive as “lone ranger” Christians, but we should strive to reach out and impact others within the body.
B is for Bible. The Bible is God’s primary way of communicating with us. Today, we are having more and more different kinds of bibles, but we are less and less knowledgeable when it comes to the bible, causing us the give in to cultural maxims.
A is for Amen. Part of getting back to basics with God is to emphasize the power of prayer.
The best way to enhance our relationship is to get back to basics with our Creator.
